Genesis Enwenyeokwu

I've spent my career around a question: what separates products that merely ship from products that actually work?

portrait — genesis

I work at the intersection of product, technology, financial services and business.

Over the years, I've become increasingly interested in what happens after the frameworks end—when teams have to turn strategy into decisions, customer needs into systems, and ambition into products that survive real organisational and technical constraints.

This website is where I think through those problems in public.

What I believe
  • Frameworks are a starting point, not an answer — the real work begins where they run out.
  • Judgment compounds. The best product decisions come from people who've made enough small ones to trust their instincts.
  • Systems thinking beats feature thinking, especially in regulated, high-constraint environments.
  • Writing in public is the fastest way to pressure-test your own thinking.
Current questions
  • How much of "product sense" is actually just accumulated systems knowledge?
  • What does AI change about the PM role — and what does it leave exactly the same?
  • Where does compliance stop being a constraint and start being a design input?
  • What's the smallest team that can responsibly ship a regulated financial product?
